I was looking for a bag for my slr camera for awhile. It's really sturdy and protects my camera and my lens really well. I was comparing this to canon and lowepro, and this bag quality is excellent for this price. (I had this for over 1 year and the stitching are still good and everything is still like new). I can fit about two lens + camera and a bunch of tiny accessories. This is excellent if you plan to use it on a day that you know you want to carry only a few things for your photo shoot.
I tried to enter feedback on the seller but, the system closed me out & wouldn't let me. If I had only received it. I would love to review this item. I will be contacted my bank to do a charge back on my debit card. I ordered from EmallGlobal on March 10th and have yet to receive it. (It's April 10th) I've e-mailed the seller 6 times with no response. A word of advice, NEVER buy from EmallGlobal. If they still even exist, that is.
I received my bags, which were packed as new, and on time. Boy did they. Everyone can make a mistake.
To me, the package was not tampered with, and the issue was likely a mistake on Samsonite's packing line. Yes, this is a review about the bag, and it is an excellent piece, and a great value. One, however, was missing the accessory shoulder straps and accessories packed inside for shipping.
it's how we handle the mistake that we distinguish ourselves. In an e mail, 47 Street simply replaced the shipment on a rush basis, no delay or request for return. The old rule is true.
But it took 47 Street to get it right, and that they did. Five stars for each.
Take off an inch and a half at the front and none at the back. Good Product. For slightly larger cameras, such as advanced point and shoots. Decent cushioning. Take off in inch and half on both sides to get the dimensions of the camera slot inside. Examples, Cannon S series, Sony H series, Panasonic Lumix fz28, Panasonic Lumix fz18, and maybe even some DSLRs.For other normal point and shoots this will be too big. Enjoy your new bag if you do get one.
I had another bag (generic) that works well for my other camera. The main zippers are very weak and had a plastic gripper which immediately fell off one of them. I thought "Samsonite" was synonymous with quality. WRONG. Then there is a stiff flap, covering the zipper track and which makes it almost impossible to open.The Amazon vendor also charges around $8 S&H so it costs almost $30 total. AWFUL.
